  1. I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned the following information. I spoke
  2. to NewTek yesterday and found out that the Flyer card in the new PC
  3. Toaster/Flyer (PCTFB) is exactly the same card as the Amiga version.
  4. The PCTFB contains a built-in TBC and has room for three removable HDs.

  6. Now why would an Amiga user want the $3,000 box, sans Flyer? Well
  7. apparently the "new" Toaster will do effects a little differently. Some
  8. of them will be the same real-time effects. However, some effects,
  9. particularly the ones that scale video will be *rendered* using
  10. LightWave. Currently there is no Paint program and I forgot to ask
  11. about CG.
